Have you ever wondered what it’s like to welcome an international high school student into your home? If so, we’d love to meet you.

Join us on Wednesday November 4^th at 6:30 PM for an International Student Program Information Session and learn what it means to become a Homestay Host in Campbell River.

This session is a chance to ask questions and explore how hosting a student can enrich your home while strengthening our community. You’ll get a clear picture of what’s involved, the support you’ll receive, and how to apply.

Why We’re Recruiting?

We’re actively seeking host families for both short-term and long-term placements. We are always welcoming new hosts, but our Semester 2 intake is right around the corner with about 20 students arriving at the end of January. 

What Hosting Involves

• Providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming home
• Offering parental guidance and supervision
• Supplying a private bedroom and secure Wi‑Fi
• Providing three healthy meals and snacks daily

What Hosts Receive

• $1100 per month per student
• Training, coaching, and ongoing support
• A collaborative, team‑based approach with our local international program staff

Who Can Host?

Anyone! Retirees, couples, families with children, and individuals—all are welcome. We welcome anyone who can offer belonging and support to high school students from around the world.
