Get out and enjoy loop day - This Sunday May 31st!
Loop Day: Move, Explore, and Celebrate Community
Every Spring, Loop Day invites the community to get outside and enjoy the 28 km Greenways Loop, a scenic route that winds through some of the most beautiful trails of Campbell River. Participants are encouraged to walk, cycle, rollerblade, or run sections of the loop, with themed support stations along the way: the Forest, River, Ocean, and Greenway stations.
The route itself is a highlight reel of Campbell River’s diverse natural surroundings. From the peaceful paths of the Beaver Lodge Lands, to the stunning Rotary Seawalk overlooking the Discovery Passage, and the shaded beauty of the Rail Trail, the route showcases just how much there is to explore right outside your door. In addition to being a fun day out, it’s a meaningful way for international students to connect with their host families, classmates, and the new place they’re calling home.
At the finish line, the Maritime Heritage Centre hosts a lively community celebration complete with food trucks, yard games, live music, and a welcoming, festive atmosphere.
